"Everyone here wants to have her babies!" "Hah! Right?"
A dust storm began to pick up. I bumped Victor's arm and apologized, moving my arm away quickly. He assured me that I had no need to apologize, and rested his arm comfortably against mine. I wondered when I became so weary of even casual touch, and relaxed into the unfolding moment.
We sat up and he observed himself in the thickening wind. "Oh my - wow..." he muttered as he patted a knee, a rather impressive cloud emitting from the strike. He peered around. He looked up at the towering figure slowly disappearing into an opaque wind. He looked at the fellow visitors as their paces slowed to a halt and they too began to peer around. He looked at me as I giggled in rising excitement. He looked back at his tan-caked body and said, "I am getting completely covered in dirt, and it is totally O.K."
